This week sees the release of Dan's debut album AROUND IN CIRCLES.

Dan is an amazing guitarist and singer, his unique and haunting vocals a perfect match for his sensitive songs and incredibly complex guitar technique. Inspired by the music of Nick Drake and John Martyn and influenced by the sweet melodies and simple harmonies of Teenage Fanclub, Jeff Buckley and most recently the Fence Collective, this album is a collection of fragile acoustic songs - beautiful music, beautifully performed.

Produced and mixed by label mate Jon Hopkins who in addition to having 2 classic albums out on the Just Music label has been working with King Creosote (679) Magnetephone (4AD) Barbarossa (Fence) Imogen Heap, Brian Eno, Chris Coco and Leo Abrahams (Just Music / Warp) Around In Circles is shaping up to be a classic that will find its way to the forefront of the current blossoming UK folk singer scene.

Dan is playing festivals and gigs up and down the country until the end of October. He is absolutely superb live - if you have an opportunity go and see him then don't miss it. This weekend he was playing at the Big Green Gathering whilst those of us at the Big Chill were treated to the DJ on the Main Stage playing his classic track 'To The Sea' just before Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here as last 2 numbers building up to Jose Gonzales. And it got a standing ovation from the Chilling Fields.....

The cd is now available to buy or download through the Just Music store and download store.
