The tracks on this EP are re-workings of two of his most popular tracks from that debut,
Take Heart In Your Hope &
Let It Be. The tracks have been remixed with a string section composed and orchestrated by Davide Rossi, who has recently worked with Goldfrapp, The Verve and Coldplay. The strings add to the songs? romantic yearning and lay beautifully under the melodies. The tracks for the EP were mixed by Geoff Smith (aka Loner), resulting in two truly moving pieces of acoustic music.

A favourite on the folk and festival circuits, Dan is currently taking some time off live performances and is currently back in the studio in Devon working on new tracks for his follow up (working title:
Of Tide & Trail), due for release later in 2009.
The songs are sounding great, and see Dan exploring his unique acoustic guitar looping technique and use of delay effects further, whilst bringing a new tenderness and warmth to his vocals.
