Laroca will be playing a full band set on Thursday 4th December at the Oxford Academy. The band are currently putting the finishing touches on the follow up to their debut ?Friends In Faraway Places?, due in early 2009. Always live favourites, Laroca are sure to deliver their blend of world music, driving beats, electronic embellishments and virtuoso musicianship, with tracks from their aforementioned debut and the forthcoming ?Valley Of The Bears?.

Laroca will be supporting ?Introducing?, who are playing DJ Shadow's classic Endtroducing LP live for the first time in the UK, featuring Rob, Matt and Mike from Laroca's live band.
It's hard to imagine that it's now over a decade since DJ Shadow released his timeless debut album 'Endtroducing' ? an album that inspired a generation of musicians. Now, for the first time ever in the U.K., comes a complete, note for note live reworking DJ Shadow's classic LP.
