As Padma heads out to the wilderness, his single "Song For An Entryphone" is chosen by Julian Lennon

Nov 3rd, 2008
Padma's single "Song For An Entryphone" has been selected as Julian Lennon's Pick of the Week on the US Downtempo site Below Zero.

This great news come as Padma posts his first video blog from Spain, which you can see below:

Inspired by the ideas behind Henry David Thoreau's "Walden", Padma will be blogging about his experiences, and will keep us updated in the form of a video blog and an accompanying written blog.

In 1854 Henry David Thoreau went to the woods, built a cabin and contemplated the impact of industrialisation on the lives of humans. The result was his famous book "Walden: Or, Life in the Woods". Now Padma is heading off to the mountains to live in a yurt. Here he will re-visit Thoreau's ideas, and suggest some from his own Buddhist perspective, in an attempt to find radical solutions to the current economic, environmental and spiritual crises. Like Thoreau, he will share his life on the mountain and question the basic values on which our society is built. The result will be a new video blog - "Here: Or, Life in the Mountains".
