A huge thank you to all who supported Just Music artists at this year’s Big Chill. The event was a resounding success yet again, blessed (mostly) by sunshine and with a great line up.

FUTURE LOOP FOUNDATION finished off the Friday night with a stunning AV show in the Mix Media tent, a haven for the more discerning Big Chiller. The tent was filled with Mark Barrott’s orchestral sweeps and epic beats, while Myogenic supplied the visuals on 3 giant screens. Current album The Fading Room was truly brought to life - a sight to behold.

JON HOPKINS’ set on the Main Stage on Saturday night served as a very chilled juxtaposition after Tom Middleton’s upbeat acid house set. Flying back especially from his support slot on Coldplay’s US tour, Jon’s set saw him playing brooding but beautiful tracks from forthcoming album Insides, entrancing the sizeable crowd. Again, Jim from Myogenic was on hand to mix the animated visuals creating a perfect Big Chill set.

DAN ARBORISE played a wistful and suitably laid back set in the packed Small World tent in the Sunrise field on the Sunday. Dan bantered with the appreciative audience about the success of the transition of the Sunrise Celebration festival into The Big Chill, which worked as a great addition. Gentle finger picking combined with swirling guitar loops gave clues to what’s in store on forthcoming album, Of Tide & Trail, finishing off a great festival for Just Music.
