Echaskech – Our new album Shatterproof – out now!

Echaskech – SHATTERPROOF

New Album – Out Now!

It’s the ability to match the rough with the smooth that makes Shatterproof win through. With a second album of melodic electronica, filthy funk and soaring goosebump raisers under their belts, it could be time that the ‘Skechy boys got the credit they’re due…
IDJ – 9/10

This record is sexier than a quiet night in with Megan Fox
Eddy Temple Morris, XFM

This is where Orbital, Brian Eno, The Radiophonic Workshop, Warp’s Artificial Intelligence series from the early ’90s and good old tuneful, contemporary, grimy dance music collide, and it proves to be an immersive, enjoyable journey
MUSIC OMH

One of the albums of the year. Phenomenal. Electronica at its very best – think Orbital meets Jon Hopkins with a bit of Schnauss thrown in for good measure“
Ben Mynott (Fluid Nation, Big Chill)

Twisted contemporary take on Kraftwerk, Brian Eno and even Ulrich Schnauss. Add to that remixes from dubstep hot act Sbtrkt and electro disco rework from Virgil Howe, we have something that needs to be heard. Brought to you from the label that gave us Jon Hopkins, do track down“
Pathaan – iDJ

One thing Echaskech never shy away from is melody, and that approach makes for an engaging and genuinely uplifting experience
Record Reviewer

Echaskech display proficiency very much akin to the likes of Apparat, Ellen Allien, Modeselektor etc. Every track has kicks and bass that roll up and punch you in the stomach with the precision of only the best metaphorical black belts

Echaskech – new single now on release!

Thursday, August 20th, 2009

Future Sex EP – released now on all the usual download sites and at the Just Music online store!

‘This record is sexier than a quiet night in with Megan Fox’ Eddy Temple Morris – XFM

Click here for Just Music Store

This tongue-in-cheek retro-futuristic electro hip grinder may not be typical of the rest of the album but it was about time that we paid homage to some of our early electro influences such as Newcleus, Aux 88, Egyptian Lover and Davy DMX. So we have, and its a big fat slinky bass rocking ditty about the oh so serious subject of, well, having sex with robots. Enjoy!

Also – take a listen to our new remix of Dialog’s ‘Gothic Monks’ – available to hear on myspace, and to buy on iTunes.
